We are in the process of buying new hymnals. This is important
not only for our Sunday services, but it is an extension of our ministry at
Congressional Cemetery. These hymnals are available to any denomination who has
a funeral or memorial service at the cemetery
chapel.
At
Congressional Cemetery, there are 1,800 Veteran's buried. They represent the
sacrifices made by the men and women in every conflict from the Revolutionary
War, to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Our Congregation is committed to buying one new flag for EACH Veteran's grave site at Congressional Cemetery. Flags cost just $2.00 each.
